This past week, Pastor Keith Battle was "called out" by Zion Church member, Angus Small, to accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Always ready to take on something new and for a great cause, Pastor Battle accepted the challenge and shared why supporting ALS was important to him.
In this video message below, Pastor Keith Battles talks about the benefits of churches offering multiple services. He also shares some of the challenges that Pastors may experience, as well as helpful personal tips that keep him charged through four services at Zion Church.
Curious about whether you should attend The Pastor's Roundtable? Pastor John K. Jenkins of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden answers 3 key questions, highlighting why you shouldn't miss this exclusive event for Pastors on Wednesday, July 30th in Landover, Maryland.
The vision of The Pastor's Roundtable has been to provide support, mentoring, and coaching to Pastors in an intimate setting. With over 25 years of experience in ministry, Pastor Keith Battle sought to transparently share his successes and learning lessons as he grew Zion Church from 25 attendees at a Bible Study to now over 5,000 weekly attendees across three campuses. It has been incredible to hear feedback from Pastors of established churches as well as new church plants who attended our recent Roundtable sessions. Take a look at the video below to hear what these Pastors gained from participating in The Roundtable. If you'd like to participate in the July 30th Roundtable, please click here to register.
If you are a Senior Pastor, Lead Pastor, Campus
Pastor, or Associate Pastor, I'd love for you to join me on July 30th for The Pastor's Roundtable in the Metropolitan Area. Being in ministry for over 25 years, I have learned some valuable lessons about leadership, balancing ministry and family, church planting, staffing, sermon preparation, and more. I'd like to personally share insight that has helped me become a better leader. We started Zion Church in February of 2000 with a Bible study of 25 attendees.
Today, it has been a blessing that Zion Church reaches over 5,000 attendees weekly across 3 Campuses. Participation is limited to 12 attendees. This allows for an intimate setting
where each Pastor's specific needs, questions, and challenges can be addressed.
Spouses (clergy and non-clergy) are also
welcome to attend.
The cost for each Participant is $100 and it will take place Wednesday, July
30th, 2014 from 9am - 12pm. We will meet at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden's Ministry Center located
at 3600 Brightseat Road; Landover, MD, 20785. The registration cost is
non-refundable, but is transferable (ie. if you are unable to attend, you may
transfer your spot at the Roundtable to another Leader.) Remember, space is
limited, so don't delay registering. I hope to see you there.
